His father taught him how to make things when he was young. Together they made a pinball machine, a telegraph and a lamp – and it was this lamp that sparked Davide Groppi’s passion for lighting.

Over fifty years later and the brands’ extensive contemporary lighting range is still winning awards, including the prestigious ADI Compasso D’Oro for their Sampei and Nulla pieces.

Their playful and exciting designs include a portable rechargeable table lamp, a giant yet delicate architectural floor lamp that seems to defy gravity, and a plaster-in downlight with a cunning hidden light source.
