Blue tulle annual bird

Professor Oiva Toikka created each Birds by Toikka glass bird in close cooperation with glassblowers, first at the Nuutajärvi glass factory and later at the Iittala glass factory. The designs combine Toika’s love for nature and passion for glass art. The glass birds are inspired by real birds, but at the same time emphasizing Toika’s fascinating imagination.

The bird of the year for 2023, the Blue Thrush, has a classic bird shape with attractive bluish-brown feather-like decoration. The annual bird is the perfect gift to remind you of the important moments of the year. Each bird is numbered and engraved to mark the year. Only available through 2023.
